"I don't want to sound like a broken record, but we hit a lot of balls on the barrel of the bat," said Wedge. "They played excellent defensively. We didn't find any holes, and we mixed in some bad at-bats, but we could have easily had 11 or 12 hits today."
Wedge used Sizemore as an example. He hit the ball hard four times, but had only two hits to show for it.
"I feel these guys are starting to come around," said Wedge. "This is the fight. This is when you can't give into it. When you do start swinging the bat a little better, and you're not getting the results, that's when you have to keep coming out here, trusting the process and believing that it will turn around."

Talk about patience!
